June 12th Market

While tomorrow is bound to be a hot day, we’ll still have plenty going on at the market, so it’s worth stopping by.  A new group, Hype x Howe, will be playing music at the market for the first time (I know I said this last week too) and our vendors will have plenty of products.

Liz will be bringing her shortbread cookies, lemon and lime curd as well as an assortment of handmade jams and jellies. She will also have handcrafted woolen products.

Cliff and Margarite will have CHICKEN; breasts, breast 1/4. leg 1/4, 1/2 chickens,cold smoked 1/2 chickens, cold smoked chicken drumsticks, cold smoked cayenne/garlic chicken wings, also chicken wings ,legs and thighs.

**for those interested in healthy food for their dog or cat, they have chicken giblets and backs, which also make great stock**

Produce and herbs: greens salad mix, mesculin lettuce mix, beet greens, turnip greens, bunching onions, cilantro, mint, parsely, thyme, lemon thyme, rosemary, tarragon, borage oregano, and lovage.
They are also taking orders for chickens for every 2 weeks of the season, and are even starting to take orders for Thanksgiving turkeys!

We just got our order of new 2015 MGM shirts, stop by and check them out!

The Herb Corner

Phil and Diane will have all sorts of vegetable plants for sale including tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and squash as well as an assortment of herb plants and hanging baskets.  They will also be bringing fresh cut greens, spring onions and an assortment of fresh cut herbs.

Chris will have a variety of goat milk soaps, creams and lotion bars. Depending on the weather, the baby goats Zesty and Waffles might be making another visit. Mike will have a limited amount of fresh asparagus.

Tomorrow is looking like it will be a nice warm day and perfect farmers market weather! Stop by and see what our vendors have available. Matt Noldy will be playing music again from 4-6.
