Lean and Green!! 11/14/2014

The days are getting shorter, as is the list of vendors each week as the season winds down but, we’re still here, lean and green!! You’ll find us warm, dry, and cozy, INDOORS; at the Parish Hall, located at the rear of the church green. We’ll be inside until mid November with a great selection of meats, baked goods, eggs, and fall produce like, potatoes, kale, chard, and more. We’re hoping you will  continue to come see us, shop, hang out, and have a great time at the market for the few remaining weeks to come.

Here’s short but sweet list of scheduled vendors and their products for the week:

Always Somethin’ Farm will be bringing their regular goat milk soap and cream products,  prize winning garlic, and garlic braids.

Inn to the Seasons will have meat products consisting of pork, lamb, goat, and veal. They’ll be featuring their cheese products: Manicotti, Pierogies Broccoli Cheese Crepes, Blintzes, Lasagna, and Cheese Cake, all made from goat’s milk. They’ll also have a few cheese spreads and one of the best fudges you’ll ever taste.

Running bear will be back this week with a large assortment of fall produce (KALE), lamb, rabbit, sausage, turkey, and chicken cuts. They’ll also have concord grape concentrated syrup in pint containers. Stop at their table and see what other surprises they might have this week.IMG_0223

Spring Meadows will be here with freshly dug potatoes, Swiss chard, soy free eggs and fall greens.mgm5

So there you have it folks, short and sweet. There will only be one more Friday market after this week AND, one special MGM market day on Tuesday, 11/25, the last one of the year.partypants3

Hope to see you at the MGM between 3-6 P.M., located inside the Saint James Episcopal Church Parish Hall located in Mansfield, Pa. on Wellsboro Street, one block east of the downtown light. Look for our signs.
