Indoor Market 4/18

Pssssst, are we going out or coming in?

Pssssst, are we going out or coming in?

Well the sun is out now and the grass is turning green. These are positive signs that Spring is on it’s way. They say “In like a Lion, out like a Lamb” but I think the Lion and Lamb are getting a little confused this year.

At Market this week:

The Herb Corner will have their cold tolerant plants, fresh herbs and bay leaves. Also Spring onions and lettuce. Nice addition to your Easter table. Try starting an herb garden on your kitchen windowsill or plant lettuce and spinach in a window box until our weather improves.

Running Bear will not be with us this week but their Farm Stand in Troy will be open.

There’s a whole host of baked goods throughout the room from Basically Bagels, Glennfiddich Bakery and Yorkshire Meadows.

Yorkshire Meadows will have Jams and Curd. Liz will also have a couple of baskets of Handknitted items on Clearance.

Homemade soaps, creams, and lotion bars from Always Somethin’ Farm always make great gift ideas .

Want to learn to Knit or Spin Wool from local sheep? Sign up for a class at the Yorkshire Meadows table as you browse through the hats and fingerless mittens

So we’ll all be there INSIDE the Parish Hall at 3pm – 6pm on Friday. Hope to see you then.

Thanks so much for supporting the Mansfield Growers Market. Happy Days!!!
