The wind chill got you down? Try some creative visualization of the upcoming market season . . . yummmmm. Mansfield Growers Market volunteers are hard at work planning for spring. The indoor market at the end of last season was such a success that we are starting a month earlier than usual–indoors. The St. James Parish Hall will turn into the Mansfield Growers Market 3-6 pm Fridays in April. Then from May through September we will be in outdoor festival mode on the lawn, with music, children’s activities, and a weekly cafe (more on this later).
This coming Friday, February 22, at 6 pm is the pre-season pot luck meeting for vendors and volunteers (also in the Parish Hall). It is a great opportunity for new vendors to meet the folks involved with the market and see if they’d like to apply. But you can apply even if you can’t make the meeting. Guidelines are posted on our website under “Vendor Guidelines.” Fees are on a scale depending how many dates you sign up for (you choose) and are detailed in the application.
Guidelines and applications can be sent via email, or snail mail if necessary. Contact us at MGMPAinfo.gmail.com or call Dan at 662-2766. We hope you’ll consider joining us this year!
