Special this week, stop by the Always Somethin’ Farm stand for a taste of roasted garlic on some of Shannon’s fresh baked bread (from Glenfiddich Baked Goods). Mike grows award-winning garlic and has many varieties for sale.
Produce, produce, produce! This is the time of year for fresh, delicious, and crisp produce. Tomatoes, corn, zucchini, leafy greens, sweet corn, cucumbers, and did I mention CORN at the Keeney Farm stand? The list goes on and on and on. Check in with Starbright Farm, Running Bear Farm, Keeney Farm, Spring Meadows Farm, Always Somethin’ Farm, Utter Merry Mac Farm, Sun Rise Farm–they gottcha covered on the produce front! Make it a complete meal and grab some protein while you’re at it (if you so choose). Our vendors offer a variety of meat selections, from beef to chicken to lamb to turkey! Get all your groceries from the local source at the market! Hilllstone Farm and Running Bear Farm have it covered. If you want to spice up your meal with a little something extra, check in with Bite-Me-BBQ and pick up a bottle of their fantastic home-made BBQ sauce. You might just even get a free sample…
Our crafty-crafters are will also be around with their lovely creations. Wool and wool-like items from Yorkshire Meadows as well as their delicious sweets and treats (cookies, scones, jams… stuff like that). Goat milk soap from Always Somethin’ Farm and Pure Hart Soapcrafters as well as jewelry and house hold goodies from various other vendors. Also, there will be bagels (courtesy of Basically Bagels), desserts, cookies and breads (thank you very much, Glenfiddich Farm) and plants and treats from The Herb Corner! Yippee! Hooray! We love market day!
Papa V’s is taking over the hot cart this week, making sure you don’t have to shop on an empty stomach! Stop by the hot cart first and fill up You can enjoy your meal while listening to local musician, Brandon Lusk. Renowned for his skills on the acoustic guitar, he will be bringing music and joy to our market this week. Show your support for local talent!
