Indoor Market 4/11

lettuceAfter a brutal winter we are all ready for warmer weather and fresh grown greens!

The growing season was off to a slow start but this week we should have a larger variety for you.

The Herb Corner will have their starter plants, lettuce, spinach and all kinds of wonderful gardening tips. Try starting an herb garden on your kitchen windowsill or plant lettuce and spinach in a window box until our weather improves.

IMG_0223Running Bear will have eggs, tatsoy, patchoy, arugula, broccoli rabe as well as rabbit, turkey and cuts of lamb.

There’s a whole host of baked goods throughout the room from Basically Bagels, Glennfiddich Baked Goods, and Yorkshire Meadows, plus a variety of jams and lemon curd.

Chris soap

Homemade soaps, hand creams, and lotion bars from Always Somethin’ Farm always make great gift ideas.

Want to learn to knit or spin wool from local sheep? Sign up for a class at the Yorkshire Meadows table as you browse through the hats and fingerless mittens.IMG_0220

Inn to the Seasons will be there with their usual variety of meat, ricotta-based foods, and challah.

So we’ll all be there INSIDE the St. James Parish Hall at 3pm – 6pm on Friday. Hope to see you then.
